Ready to showcase your results and start building a powerful treatment portfolio? In this post, we’ll walk you through how to upload, compare, and document your first Before & After case using Facetec. If you recently completed training and treated a patient model, this step-by-step guide will help you get that case uploaded and ready to share.

Step 1: download or access your patient’s records

  1. Download the patient’s RFRP and marked photos provided to you from the course.

Step 2: upload patient records into your Facetec account

  1. Sign-in to your Facetec account.
  2. Go to Patients and register each patient by entering their details.
  3. Once registered, locate the patient under Patient List and open their profile.
  4. Click on the Visits tab.
  5. Select Create New Visit.
  6. Update the Visit Date to the date treatment was provided (if different from today).
  7. Under Treatment Record, enter treatment notes/details.
  8. Under Upload Photos, upload the full set of the 29 RFRP photos.
  9. Upload any treatment planning photos (ie: with facial markings) under Marked Photos.
  10. Schedule and confirm the patient’s 2-week post-treatment follow-up appointment.

Step 3: compare results and begin developing your portfolio

  1. At the 2-week follow-up, log in to Facetec and open the patient’s profile.
  2. Take the complete series of post-treatment (“After”) photos.
  3. Go to Visits and select Create New Visit.
  4. Upload the new photos under Upload Photos.
  5. At the top of the screen, click Compare Visits and select the date of the original treatment visit.
  6. Review & scroll through the side-by-side comparison of the treatment results.
  7. If the results were portfolio-worthy, click Add to Portfolio to showcase this case. You now have your first Before & After case saved in your Portfolio!
